Jessica is excited to announce the release of her debut EP 'Flung out of Space' which showcases a her bold compositional style and unique voice on soprano saxophone. The EP consisted of 4 original compositions, each representing a different stage on the path to change. The title track, ‘Flung out Of Space’ takes the listener through a variety of sonic landscapes and has an overall feeling of hopefulness and excitement with its Pat Metheny style melody and uptempo groove. ‘Light’, ironically presents us with a darker space to reflect on the anxieties and challenges that come along with trying to evolve. whereas ‘Be Still’ offers a calmness and tranquility to pause and accept where we are in the present. ‘Freedom Dance’ is the epic conclusion in the journey and leaves us with a feeling of optimism, power and strength.
